Happy Kids Yoga and Mindfulness will be hosting an online session for parents – focusing on introducing yoga and mindfulness into your kids lives.

I remember not so long ago when the morning routine was so stressful that I would spend most of the day feeling guilty for shouting at the kids and imagining they had been worrying about it all day. Bedtime was not much better and after hours of trying to get my two little ones to bed I would be left exhausted, deflated and probably guilty again. Mum guilt is an absolute killer!
Fast Forward to today and obviously things are not perfect everyday but I can honestly say we have turned a corner. After training as a kids yoga teacher and working with thousands of kids I learnt many skills that could help. Breathing techniques to bring calm to a highly charged situation, yoga poses to relax the body and mindfulness practices to connect and bond. Using yoga and mindfulness at home has brought a sense of calm to the chaos we used to have daily. I feel I have a far greater bond with my kids, morning and bedtime routines are smoother and we have much less worry and anxiety from the kids and me.
Plus with all the changes in schools and the world at the moment this is a key time to give your kids these valuable skills to support their mental health now and in the future.

I will give you the skills to bring simple yoga and mindfulness into your home. You don’t have to be a yogi, you don’t even have to have ever tried yoga, I will give you all the skills you need.
