A pre-recorded online session for primary school teachers, this session can be completed at a time that suits you and all staff in the school can have access to the course and receive a certificate.
Yoga is a brilliant activity that has lots of benefits for children and can easily be done in the classroom. This training will give you the skills to deliver simple yoga and mindfulness exercises.
The training is based on using yoga and mindfulness skills in every day life which will help children feel more confident and calm and also increase concentration levels. In addition to this, it gives children (and staff) the skills to manage their own mental health challenges now and in the future through breathing, relaxation and movement. The training is based on providing short (2-3 minutes), simple activities which can be performed at four key points in a child’s day; morning, after break, after lunch and at the end of the day.
