Straight answers on experience, hours, territory, training and what happens next.
Do you need to be a yoga teacher, or a business person? No, and no.
No. None of our franchisees were children’s yoga teachers when they started. The training covers everything, and a love of working with children matters more than a yoga background.
No. The model, the pricing, the marketing and the admin tools are all provided. You need to be happy to pick up the phone to a school and start a conversation.
Most franchisees are teaching their first classes the term after they train. Training is online sessions you fit around work and family, then two days with Jen in Warrington, including a day of SEN training. We’ll give you the next dates when we chat.
What a week looks like, who you teach and where.
That’s up to you. Most sessions happen in school and nursery hours, so many franchisees work school hours in term time. Others add after school classes, holiday clubs and a second teacher.
Yes, as long as you have some daytime hours free, because most sessions are in the school and nursery day. You can start with a few mornings a week and build up from there.
Mostly three to twelve, and nursery, reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 each have their own lesson plans. Our SEN sessions work with pupils up to 24.
Nurseries, primary schools, special schools and SEN units, holiday clubs and community venues in your territory. Most bookings are in settings, so you don’t need your own studio.
Your area is yours, the figures are in the Info Pack, and you are never on your own.
Yes. You’re the only Happy Kids Yoga in your area, and every territory has over 100 schools and over 100 nurseries inside it. See where we already are.
Both are set out in the Info Pack, with an honest illustration based on what current franchisees charge. We don’t put the figures on the website because we’d rather you had the full picture.
Regular check ins with head office, ongoing training, marketing campaigns that send enquiries to you, school and nursery call lists for your area, and a network of franchisees who share what works.
No, it’s the part we’re best at. You get social content ready to post, flyers and your own page on our website, and head office runs the nursery campaigns. You also get one to one Canva training, and newer franchisees have a weekly social media drop in with us.
Get the Info Pack, read it, and if it feels right book a call with Jen. If it still feels right after that, there’s a short application and a meeting, and then a place on the next training intake.
If your question isn’t here, the Info Pack probably answers it, and if not, Jen will. Every franchisee started with a relaxed chat and no pressure.
