Cookie Policy
What cookies this website uses and how to control them.
Last updated: 24th October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
2. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. We only set the cookies the site needs until you choose, and nothing else loads if you choose Reject. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link on the banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
3. The cookies we use
Necessary cookies
These remember your cookie choice. The site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need consent.
- CookieLawInfoConsent, viewed_cookie_policy, cookielawinfo-checkbox-necessary, cookielawinfo-checkbox-non-necessary: record whether you have seen the banner and what you chose. Kept for up to one year.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
These come from Google Analytics. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. They do not tell us who you are.
- _ga: tells one visitor apart from another. Kept for two years.
- _ga_NGK6ETWYN8: keeps track of your visit. Kept for two years.
Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
These come from HubSpot, which we use to manage enquiries, and from Facebook, through HubSpot’s advert tracking. They help us see which visits lead to an enquiry and measure our adverts.
- hubspotutk: links your visits to an enquiry you send us. Kept for six months.
- __hstc: tracks your visits over time. Kept for six months.
- __hssc and __hssrc: keep track of the current visit. Kept for 30 minutes or until you close your browser.
- _fbp: Facebook’s pixel, used to measure our adverts on Facebook and Instagram. Kept for three months.
4. Other websites and embedded content
Some pages show content from other services, such as Google reviews, or link to the booking platforms our local teachers use. Those services may set their own cookies when you use them, under their own cookie and privacy policies.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work as expected.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change, with a new date at the top. For more about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
